Our school composition

A school is an institution from where we get our institutional degree and enrich our knowledge. It helps us to widen the knowledge. It is the centre of a nation’s future. I am a student of class six. The name of our school is Kallyanpur Girls’ School. It is a renowned school in the city of Dhaka. The school was set up by the benevolent persons of the locality in 1972.

The school stands by the side of the Kallyanpur main road. It faces the south. It is about a quarter of a mile far from Kallyanpur bus stand. The school is a brick-built house. The main school building is four-strayed. There are sufficient rooms to accommodate students from class 1 to class 10. There are rooms for the Headmistress, the teachers, the office, the library and the science laboratory. There is a large open space in front of the school building. There are some mango trees and a flower garden in the school compound which is completely walled-off. We have a large playground just behind the school building.

There are about fifteen hundred students and thirty-four teachers in our school. Our headmistress in highly qualified, experienced and trained. Most of our teachers are also highly qualified and experienced.

The school sits in two shifts. Each class is divided into two sections-the Shapla and the Rose. The school begins at 7:30 am shift and breaks up at 4:30 pm.

The result of the SSC Examination is quite satisfactory. Some brilliant students get scholarship in PSC and JSC every year. It also gives opportunity to participate in different cultural and social activities. The students participate in debate and other programs. We are really proud of our institution.
